ABSTRACT: This study explored the Benefits of Early Childhood Robotics Programs on Problem-Solving. The objectives of this study were to: (1) investigate the benefits of early childhood robotics programs in developing problem-solving skills among young children, (2) assess the effectiveness of robotics education in fostering creativity and innovation, and (3) determine the long-term impacts of robotics programs on cognitive development. A survey research design was justified to collect comprehensive data from educators, parents, and children about their experiences with robotics education in early childhood settings. A sample size of 150 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and children aged 4-6, was selected using purposive sampling to ensure diversity in socio-economic backgrounds in Enugu State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their innovative robotics curriculum and emphasis on STEM education. Findings revealed that early childhood robotics programs significantly enhanced children's problem-solving abilities, creativity, and critical thinking skills. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to integrate robotics education into their curricula, provide training for educators, and secure funding for robotics resources to promote STEM learning from an early age.
